I’m opening up today’s post to the public a bit because I think it’s important to share what a “real Los Angeles actor”‘s life looks like when it’s slow and because I know that when I am on the wrong end of a downturn, I scour the internet for ideas on how to stay active. For a career that is so dependent on other people doing the work with you (and on those people hiring you), it can feel a little futile to just analyze a monologue by yourself again and again. And I know that, for me, that kind of busy work doesn’t fill my cup.
