I was nominated for Best Actress in a Short by the San Diego Film Awards … and I won!

I was really excited to be recognized like that – and can’t wait to film something new now. Fingers crossed some of the big news in our industry actually means we start MAKING STUFF again.
I did reedit my reels to include some Ambush footage as well. I mean, if I’m winning awards and stuff I feel like I should probably put it in there!
As for what’s next…
I’m still hard at work writing the feature film I booked earlier this year. I’m just about through a very rough draft; it’s still all lumpy and weird but the bones are taking shape and I’m starting to really see the direction I wanted it to go. I did a mini writing retreat in Morro Bay this month that… didn’t… quite… go to plan (thanks, nightmare Airbnb 😬), but I still managed to come away with a solid few pages and a clear direction.
I’ll share a few first-draft snippets in next month’s private Patron-only update.
